Day Three in St. Louis

Well today I took the day to explore St. Louis, instead of driving on. It was a nice day not being in the car. I think Scout and Tirranna like it! Tirranna doesn't seem so upset, I was getting worried she wouldn't use her litter box... Anyhow, today I went to the Anheuser - Busch Brewery and took a tour, saw how they make their Budwesier beer. Learned the history of the company. It was pretty cool. Got two free beers to taste afterwards. Didn't know that Anheuser - Busch made a lot of import beers- like Stella, Becks, and Bass... It definitely was somewhat educational, though I did know a lot of what my two tour guides said.

After that I drove back to the hotel and walked to the Archway. You are able to go up to the top, which you are squeezed into a small ass box like thing that they call a "time machine." Mind you if there are 5 adults in one you have no room to move. It's kinda like a roller coaster but worst, I thought. (they need elevators instead) Once you get to the top you can look at small windows and either look out to St. Louis or the Mississippi River (Hump). It was pretty neat, you can feel the Archway moving back and forth while you are standing, like when you are standing on a boat. And again you have 50 people around you in a small ass space, so if you can't handle things like that- its not for you! I got some really cool shots from the top! My next stop was going to be the riverboat ride on the Mississippi River... BUTTTTTTTT.... the river had flooded on the Riverfront, sooo... All the riverboat and helio rides were closed since unless you could really swim well you could get to them! But I decided to take a walk through the park and go through the Historic Laclede's Landing, and grabbed a late lunch at Hannegan's Restaurant & Pub. It was pretty good!

Then I walked back to the hotel and took a nap with Scout. Woke up around 8pm and decided to walk back to Laclede's Landing and get something to eat at another restaurant. I decided to stop at the Casino before getting back to the animals. Had to have some fun tonight!

So, tomorrow I head off to Hays, Kansas.

Theres is no place like home, theres no place like home....
Oh I had to add a picture of my two month old bike that will need to be detailed when I get to Los Angeles...
